What is in the refill?
Each 48 ml refill contains a documented 2% feline facial pheromone analogue blend in an isoparaffinic carrier for warm diffusion. The blend lists oleic, palmitic, azelaic and pimelic acid analogue components at 0.5% each. Ingredient identity does not guarantee a behavioural result.
How long should the trial run before evaluating it?
Allow at least seven days of continuous use before evaluating the room. Individual responses vary, so record behaviour rather than assuming every change came from the diffuser.
Where should the diffuser be plugged in?
Use an open wall outlet in the room where the cat spends most of its time. Avoid drafts from windows, doors, and air vents. The refill vial should remain below the plug-in, and the unit should not be used in a power strip or surge protector.
Should it stay plugged in overnight?
The manufacturer recommends continuous use, including overnight. Unplug before cleaning and follow the supplied electrical and cleaning instructions.
How often are the refill and plug-in unit replaced?
Replace a refill after about 30 days or when empty. Replace the plug-in unit after six months or after three refill vials, whichever comes first.
Which plug version is supplied?

Will people, dogs, or other pets detect the cat pheromones?

The manufacturer says a slight smell may occur as the warming element operates. A strong, unusual, leaking, damaged, or overheating unit should be unplugged and reviewed using the product safety instructions.
