Privacy and site data

1. What this notice covers

This notice describes the limited data involved when you visit Catpip or choose to email its editorial desk. Catpip does not currently operate a shop, newsletter signup, advertising tracker, or analytics service.

2. Data involved

• Essential technical data: the hosting service may process limited server-log, device, and browser information needed to deliver and secure the site.
• Contact data: if you email Catpip, the editorial desk receives the email address, message, and information you choose to include.

3. Why it is used

Essential technical information is used to operate and protect the site. Email information is used to read and respond to the message, investigate corrections, or handle the request you made.

4. Cookies and analytics

Catpip does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, this notice will be updated before non-essential tracking is enabled.

5. Sharing and retention

Catpip does not sell personal data. Information may be processed by services needed to host the site or deliver email, and may be disclosed where legally required. Messages and technical records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for their purpose, security, or legal obligations.

6. Your choices and rights

You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or other rights available under applicable data-protection law. You may also contact the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate or your local EEA supervisory authority.
