Editorial policy

Catpip publishes calm, practical information for cat guardians. Our editorial process separates verified product facts, source-backed guidance, household experience and unresolved uncertainty.

How we write

  • We lead with the safety boundary when a topic involves health, symptoms or urgent care.
  • We describe what can be observed before suggesting an interpretation.
  • We use primary or authoritative sources for evidence-based claims.
  • We keep owner experience separate from clinical evidence.
  • We state limitations and unknowns instead of strengthening a claim for marketing.

Health and veterinary review

Catpip does not imply veterinary review. Health or safety content is not described as medically reviewed unless a named, appropriately qualified reviewer has completed the relevant review and the page shows that review clearly.

Commercial transparency

Product facts remain separate from editorial judgment. Affiliate, sponsored or other commercial relationships must be disclosed where they apply.

Corrections

Material safety or evidence changes trigger a fresh review. Use the contact page to report an error, accessibility problem or missing disclosure.
